As of April 26th, I have been cigarette free for over three years now. I still enjoy the smell when someone lights one up, but the craving is no longer there. I also do not like the smell cigarettes leave on your clothes. It never bothered me before, probably because I was use to the smell. Now it repulses me. I wonder how many people were turned off by my nicotine smell? At least I don't have to worry about that problem anymore. My wife also just past the three year mark without smoking. Together we supported each other and without the support I don't know if either one of us would have made it. I suggest quitting with a partner for this reason. P.S. We both had really strange dreams the first weeks into quitting.
